She consistently completes my braids in just a few hours, leaving me free to enjoy the rest of my day. One of the things I appreciate most about Amber is her gentle approach. I've been a client of Behind My Chair consistently for a little over a year and Amber and Tavia are nothing short of amazing. When I started visiting Amber my hair was short and brittle by my fourth appointment (I get my hair braided every 5-6 weeks) I could put my hair in a ponytail which I hadn't been able to do because one I don't like taking care of my hair and two, i have been on dialysis for several years and I believe some medication I'm prescribed during treatment initially caused my hair to shed. I usually choose her 4am appointments that always begin on time and I am leaving at the latest by 8:30am with a full head of long medium individuals. I'm busy with work and treatment all the time and Amber and Tavia make sure to not waste any time getting me in and out. I have other friends and family who are professional women who unbeknownst to me also are clients which is even more amazing. These ladies are worth every dollar I spend with them. They are also in a safe location with parking directly in front of the salon. Thank you Behind My Chair for everything you do!

Amber and her team is beyond AMAZING, I called for emergency help with my daughters hair (after swimming in a pool her hair was matted and I tried my best to detangle her hair for 6 hours to no success). Amber detangled, styled and gave me tips on hair care in an hour! My 6 year old daughter did great for almost the whole hour, only the last 10 minutes she got fussy but was soon happy with a smile when she was finished in no time. Thank you so much!

I could not find a braider in my area, Antelope Valley, because everyone was booked until July. I found Behind My Chair Salon, located in Redondo Beach and was able to book an appointment. Amber and Tavia were amazing. I was able to get an appointment at 4 am to get knotless braids and was told that this service would take 3 hours. To my surprise she was done before 3 hours and my braids were done to perfection! Nice and neat. The customer service was beyond amazing, it was Exceptional! I will definitely be back to get my braids done.

Five star! My experience at this salon was great! Amber and her assistant are professional, really customer focused and FAST! My braids are lovely and I've gotten a ton of compliments. What usually takes some braiders 6 hours took 2 hours at this salon. I couldn't be more happy with the service and I'll definitely be a returning when it's time to redo my braids.

Amber is Bomb ... I was in at 8:00 and out by 10:28 am. I drive from San Diego to get my hair done and it's so worth it. She gives me the best style and experience every time without fail.
