As beloved, professional hair care specialists for over 25 years, we at Behind My Chair Salon Studio have everything to keep you looking and feeling great about your hair. Our goal is to make sure you get VIP treatment so you walk out as the best version of yourself.
Our Business is based on the belief that the customers' hair care needs are of the utmost importance. I feel God has blessed us with the unique position to grow and nurture hair. I believe the style is important but it is secondary to the health of your scalp and hair. As a result of my personality and green thumb for growing hair, a high percentage of my business is from repeat customers and referrals. I welcome the opportunity to earn your trust and deliver you the best service possible.
What sets Behind My Chair Salon Studio apart from most salons is we get to know each client personally. Then we individualize specific services to what each person needs. I don't treat any two clients the same. I want to understand what makes your hair the healthiest and formulate a plan to maintain healthy hair and scalp!

SMALL KNOTLESS INDIVIDUALS
This style is a natural way too wearing Individuals. I start with the root of your hair and feed the hair in as I go. This prevents a knot at the root for easier wear and management. This style normally takes us 4 hours.
This style is a natural way too wearing Individuals. I start with the root of your hair and feed the hair in as I go. This prevents a knot at the root for easier wear and management. This style normally takes us 4 hours.
This style of Individuals are braided directly from the root of your head while feeding in hair as I braid. It is a protective style that looks awesome but also offers comfortability as the knot at the root of normal individuals isn't there. No more waiting for days or weeks to pull your hair up!
MEDIUM/ SMALL INDIVIDUALS
This individual braid extention style is achieved with medium parts and a small to medium amount of hair on each part creating a natural look. You normally need 4-6 packs of EZ Braid or Rastafri braiding hair. Then your scalp is oiled and the braids are hot water dipped. ***Done in 3- 4 hours!

Reminders and Checklist

Arrive Early: Please arrive 10 minutes early to your appointment to allow time for finding parking and using the restroom, if needed, so we can begin on time.

Late Arrivals: I have a 15-minute grace period. If you are late, we will need to reschedule, and a corresponding rescheduling or cancellation fee will apply.

Business Hours: I work Tuesday through Sunday from 4:00 AM to 2:00 PM, and I schedule back-to-back appointments. Please be respectful of the next client and their time.

Cancellations: If you cancel within 24 hours of your appointment, a 50% cancellation fee will be charged before you can reschedule.

Cancellation Process: If you need to cancel, please text me at (424) 360-1812. Do not cancel through the email confirmation sent for your appointment.

Mask Policy: If you are not feeling well, please wear a mask for the entire duration of your appointment. If you do not have one, or if your mask is not fitting properly or is not clean, a fresh mask will be provided.

Payment Methods: I accept Cash, Zelle, and Cash App as forms of payment. If you prefer not to pay with cash, please download the Zelle or Cash App for payment processing. You can link all major bank accounts or credit cards to your account.

Guests: Please do not bring extra people, children, or animals with you. If you do, we will need to reschedule.

No Eating Policy: Please plan to eat before or after your appointment. There is a no eating policy due to COVID-19. Kindly respect this and eat prior to coming or after you leave.

Arrival Notification: Please call or text when you arrive, and I will let you know when to come in. This ensures we can properly disinfect the space before you enter.
